Recent Projects

LP Steam Line

One of our recent projects: a new 10” steam line, fabricated and installed by our engineering team!

Our insulation crew was right behind them, doing a top job on the lagging. This project showcases our ability to deliver a complete turnkey solution; all handled in-house by our team from start to finish.

Large Scale Insulation & Cladding

Eastweld was responsible for the insulation and cladding of this project, which included:

•Converter Vessel
•Ducting
•Sch 160 HP steam pipework, handled by our engineering crew and then completed by our insulation team

This system operates at temperatures ranging from 600 to 800 degrees.

All the cladding was designed for movement, allowing for the necessary expansion and contraction. This was achieved by using spring-loaded bands and S clips, which provided the flexibility required to accommodate the range of movement. This approach ensured the cladding could adapt to temperature fluctuations and maintain its integrity over time.

New Vessels & Stainless Steel Piping

Another project completed, and the Eastweld crew have really smashed this one out of the park with some tight deadlines!

An engine room upgrade installing new vessels and stainless steel piping running LP and HP ammonia and -40 cO2 piping.

All pressure tested and signed off before our insulation team followed closely behind getting all the pipework/ vessels lagged. Very tight and technical but the boys pulled it off!
